Weekly Masterclasses
Each week, multiple masterclasses are held for varying instruments within the communities MFW engages with. These classes are held in Kenya, Mexico, Peru, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago; however, students are welcome to join these masterclasses regardless of their location. This often times results in a wide range of students entering, creating a friendly crossover of musicians from all over the world. These classes put a support system in place for all of MFW’s students.
These masterclasses allow students the opportunity to play for both their peers and professional musicians, which ensures further growth and comfort in regards to performance anxiety. Private lesson students and Masterclass Series performers are often times determined within these classes.
