Musicians for the World Collaborations

Concert Festival offers the unique opportunity for young musicians, composers and teachers of all nationalities and countries to participate in various Concerts, Competitions, Showcases and Master Classes.

The events take place in the world’s most prestigious concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and renowned concert halls in Europe.

Concert Festival has generously waived its application fee for Musicians for the World students. This opens up new doors for each individual we work with, regardless of their geographic location or socioeconomic standing.

University of Maryland’s School of Music requires all string majors to take “Seminar in Music Pedagogy". This class is an in-depth, string-centered course that teaches performers majors how to instruct their instrument.

Due to the pandemic, professors Irina Muresanu and Eric Kutz were forced to teach this course online. Professor Muresanu saw this as an opportunity to collaborate with Musicians for the World, and assigned each graduate student a musician to privately teach from MFW.

Ms. Muresanu describes this collaboration as a “silver lining” during the troubling times of COVID-19.
